Once we understand your vision, lifestyle, budget, and goals, we move into the Design Development & Visualisation phase—where your ideas begin to take shape.
This is where creativity meets strategy. We transform the information gathered during your Discovery Consultation into a considered and personalised design that reflects the way you live, while ensuring every decision aligns with your project goals and budget.
From spatial planning and layouts through to materials, colours, lighting, furnishings, and styling, we develop a complete design direction that allows you to confidently visualise your future space before moving into implementation.
Unlike a design-only service, Studio Gold&New can continue supporting you beyond the creative process. We can assist with procurement, coordinate directly with individual trades where appropriate, and provide guidance throughout implementation. This approach creates greater transparency, flexibility, and control over your project while helping you make informed decisions throughout the transformation.
YOUR DESIGN DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
To create a smooth and successful design process, your Interior Design Journey follows a structured approach with four key meetings. Each stage allows us to present, refine, and develop the design while ensuring your vision remains at the centre of every decision.
1. Discovery Consultation
Our journey begins with an in-depth consultation at your property. We discuss your lifestyle, design preferences, project requirements, and budget while establishing the direction for your project.
This consultation forms the foundation of your design brief and provides clarity around the opportunities and possibilities within your home.
2. Concept Presentation
During this stage, we present the initial design direction, including layout options, spatial planning ideas, colour concepts, and material selections where applicable.
This is an opportunity to review the overall direction and provide feedback before progressing into the detailed design phase.
3. Design Development Presentation
Your chosen concept is developed further through 3D visualisations, sample boards, material selections, lighting considerations, and detailed design elements where applicable.
At this stage, we refine the design based on your feedback and confirm the final direction. Where included within your service, we may also begin obtaining trade quotations to provide a clearer understanding of the project budget before implementation.
4. Final Design Presentation
The final stage brings your complete design package together. This includes your specification schedule and procurement information where applicable, providing a clear roadmap for bringing your design to life.
REFINING YOUR DESIGN
A successful design is created through collaboration. Your Interior Design Journey includes the scheduled review stages above, allowing time for feedback and refinement throughout the process.
The agreed scope of work includes the design reviews required to develop and finalise your project. Any additional meetings, revisions, or changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees and will always be discussed with you before any further work proceeds.
Our aim is to create a collaborative and enjoyable design experience while maintaining clear expectations, timelines, and direction.

Maximising Your Property Potential Journey starts from $2,400 + GST (if applicable).
Every project is individually assessed following your Discovery Consultation to ensure the recommendations and scope of work are aligned with your property, goals, and budget.

PLANNING &
PROCUREMENT
Once your design has been finalised, we move into the Planning & Procurement phase—the stage where your vision is prepared for implementation and begins to come to life.
From coordinating selections and supplier information to assisting with trade communication, quotations, and project planning, Studio Gold & New can support you through the next stage of your transformation. Whether you prefer to take an active role in managing the project yourself or would like us to guide the implementation process, our level of involvement can be tailored to suit your needs, lifestyle, and budget.
A MORE CONNECTED APPROACH TO IMPLEMENTATION
At Studio Gold&New, we believe the success of a design is not only in the concept but in how it is executed.
Our approach focuses on maintaining clear communication, quality control, and transparency throughout the implementation process. Rather than relying solely on a builder to manage all decisions, we work directly with individual trades where appropriate and involve a builder only when their expertise is required. This allows us and our clients to have greater control over the process, make informed decisions, and ensure the design intent is maintained while being mindful of the overall budget.
INVESTMENT
Planning & Procurement starts from $1,600 + GST (if applicable).
This final stage can include:

Creating a detailed procurement and implementation schedule*

Coordinating trade requirements and obtaining comparable quotations for approval*

Communicating with suppliers and trades throughout the process

On-site meetings with trades where required

Final walkthrough and identification of any outstanding items*

Supplier and retail benefits forwarded where applicable and dependent on your chosen service

Options 1: Full Project Coordination
For clients who prefer a more hands-off approach, Studio Gold&New can manage the implementation process from planning through to completion.
This includes preparing the implementation schedule, coordinating required trades, reviewing quotations, and supporting the project throughout the construction or installation phase.
During implementation, you will receive regular updates outlining progress, completed work, upcoming decisions, and project requirements. The process concludes with a final walkthrough and, where included, final styling and room reveal.
This option allows you to enjoy the transformation process without needing to manage the day-to-day details yourself.
Options 2: Flexible Project Management
For clients who prefer to manage the project themselves but want professional guidance, Studio Gold&New can provide support where needed.
We can assist with planning, supplier coordination, trade discussions, and design decisions throughout the implementation process, with additional support available on an hourly basis.
This option gives you the flexibility to stay involved while having expert guidance available when required.
